Eviction Clinic

Our Eviction Clinic offers counseling and education to Springfield residents at risk of being evicted from their homes. Our counselor serves as a mediator between the tenant and the landlord. The program offers one-on-one assistance to residents preparing for Hampden County Housing Court hearings. The goal is to ensure that tenants know, understand and exercise their rights.

We reach out to those in danger of eviction, and then help prepare participants for their day in court. Our goal is to keep them in their homes; by doing so, we serve a critical need for homeless prevention.

Tenants having a case before Housing Court are offered two access points vis phone or in person. In person clinics are held on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 PM at our office location:

721 State Street,

Springfield, MA 01109

Additionally, we utilize the online Housing Court system to notify at risk tenants of eviction services.

We have collaborative partnerships with the Fair Housing, Community Legal Aide, and the Hampden County Housing Court.
