Our Eviction Clinic offers counseling and education to Springfield residents at risk of being evicted from their homes. Our counselor serves as a mediator between the tenant and the landlord. The program offers one-on-one assistance to residents preparing for Hampden County Housing Court hearings. The goal is to ensure tenants know, understand and exercise their rights.

We reach out to those in danger of eviction, and then help prepare participants for their day in court. Our goal is to keep them in their homes; by doing so, we meet a critical need identified by surveys and by the city itself in its most recent Consolidated Plan.

We have a partnership with Massachusetts Justice Project, Western Mass. Legal Services and Housing Court. Springfield Partners uses the court's process list to invite tenants to access Eviction Clinic services.

Clinics are held weekly from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays at 721 State Street, Second Floor.
