Are you facing eviction?
Do you know that you may be able to stop the eviction?
Are you aware that you do not have to move by the date on a notice to quit, but you can’t ignore it?
Our eviction counselor will advise you on how to address eviction issues and, if necessary, will act as a mediator between you and your landlord. Our goal is to keep you in your home and prevent homelessness.
We will:
- Educate you on your rights and responsibilities as a tenant
- Prepare you for your hearing at Western Housing Court and District Court
- Help you handle issues with your landlord
- Keep you up to date with your rights as a tenant during COVID-19. Check mass.gov.
In order to qualify for our services, you must be a Springfield resident and meet the income guidelines.
