Senior Services

Our Senior Community Employment Program or Senior Aide program as it is more commonly known is a Federal Training Program funded through the Department of Labor.

The Senior Aide program helps low-income people over 55 upgrade their skills through placements at non-profit sites throughout Hampden County. Participants work 20 hours a week and receive a stipend for on-the-job training. The eventual goal is for participants to get back into the job market with a permanent position.
