Credit Counselor Steve Plummer, second from right, leads a Financial Literacy class
Credit Counseling provides confidential, one-on-one counseling to residents seeking to establish, improve, or repair their credit. Our certified credit counselor will help you determine your credit score and identify ways to build or rebuild your credit.

Our Credit Counselor also facilitates workshops on budgeting and financial literacy. To view the full schedule of classes, download the flyer below.

Financial Literacy workshops help people establish household budgets, create savings accounts, reduce debt, and build and maintain good credit scores.

New sessions begin every month, and consist of four classes each. Workshops are FREE and open to all Springfield residents of moderate or low incomes. Spanish-language workshops are available.

Workshops are sponsored by Springfield Partners for Community Action and Springfield Neighborhood Housing Services.
