Springfield Partners for Community Action is recruiting Qualified Lead Teachers for our NAEYC Accredited Infant/Toddler/Preschool program at New Beginnings Early Education & Care. New Beginnings provides warm, safe, and affordable care for children 4 weeks to 6 years. We have specially designed a nurturing, caring and supportive environment, allowing each child to learn at his or her own pace. We provide a foundation for children to achieve new skills, connect with others and develop their minds.

The Lead Teacher is responsible for the overall direction and management of the classroom including but not limited to planning curriculum, writing daily and weekly schedules, maintaining all necessary paperwork and the daily oversight of staff working in the assigned classroom. Must plan, supervise and implement activities for assigned group of children in accordance to both age and developmentally appropriate practices. Candidates must be able to engage in activities that include bending, floor activities, lifting of young children and able to fully participate in other aspects of working with children. Candidates MUST be EEC Lead Teacher certified with 2 years of classroom experience. Associate’s Degree required, Bachelor’s degree in Early Education or related field preferred, or matriculated in a college program in ECE or related field.
